Cloud Connected Devices

Create your Cloud Connector to handle the interaction between your cloud and the SmartThings Cloud. SmartThings Schema specifies an interaction type when sending a request to your server. In turn, your server responds with the appropriate information in a JSON payload.

• Setup your cloud connector using either AWS lambda function or webhook endpoint
• Your cloud connector should support the various interaction types specified in the interaction types references.

Use the developer SmartThings CLI tool to register your cloud connector using your device cloud credentials obtained from creating your OAuth client application.

Install and manage your registered SmartThings schema connector app on your account using the developer CLI tool. Test your integrated devices with the SmartThings App.
